Well it's been over three weeks since I did mine but mine failed a while ago so maybe even though though I took the car into the dealer for the recall maybe they decided that I didn't deserve it who knows.

The closest ford dealership that has a EV certified tech is 30 miles away, and they won’t offer a loaner since my car is over 60k miles… I loved the Mach e at first but after several issues starting to think this might of been a bad investment. The mobile charger stoped working, cluster panel lag, and dealership unwilling to work with me.

My car goes to the dealership tomorrow for the recall and a few other software updates.

I was told they have to have the car to order the parts, and they take 4 days to arrive. Then 1 or 2 days to install. So that means a week. But I get a free rental. I am going to ask for a truck.

Will see how this goes. The last time I was given timelines like this for the roof glass and windshield, they had the car for 19 days....

That sounds like a dealership policy; Ford does not require that. My dealer had the parts in 2 weeks before my appointment

How long ago did you schedule with them? The dealer is supposed to order the part 5 days prior to the service appointment as outlined in the TSB: https://www.macheforum.com/site/attachments/23s56fullbull-pdf.113500/

I am still waiting for the letter telling me it's my turn for the recall. Online notice still says remedy not yet available. I just took my car in for 40kmi preventative maintenance and they didn't even mention the recall (neither did I). But since I had mine replaced in Oct 2023 due to failure, I'm good with using these contactors up as much as possible before I have the recall done. The original failed at 30kmi so I expect to be good to at least 60kmi. My only disappointment in not being able to get it done sooner is I can't take advantage of using the reward points during the parts discount period. But maybe they'll have another discount period after I get the recall done and after I get the reward points.

Looks like they only took about a day. Dropped it off Monday morning and picked it up just after lunch today.

Working through some issues with the dealer though - looks like the tech went flathead screwdriver happy while removing the gloss black trim to make space for dropping the battery. Lots of new scratches... a curbed wheel too.

Everyone check the rear passenger door area, bottom corner by the rear wheel. This cap needs to be removed to access the battery I guess - both sides were messed up for me.

I'll post pictures later after sorting it out with the dealer. ?
It's back as of yesterday, so about a week and a day. For the damage, same here, the side panels were all scuffed up, but I was able to get them out. I only see one very small pry mark and I had to push the panels back to the body as gaps were left. My biggest issue was that they got tap water on the car on the PPF and let it sit in the sun. This will cause the PPF to get white spots that can not be removed without heat. The trick there is to use very hot water to remove it which is a pain to get all done. For the windshield and top glass I didn't see any marks left or damage.

My other beef was how dirty they left the inside and out including bird poop on the hood. I think this was done by the company they outsourced the glass to but I can't be sure.

You should complain about those pry marks. It kills me when techs use flatheads instead of trim removal tools. Sure you save like 10 seconds, but FFS just use the right tool.

I would certainly check back with the dealer after they order the part. Some people have to wait more than a month for the part to arrive. That would be stupid in your case. Ridiculous even to have to have the car sit up to 5 days. Dealers are supposed to order part and schedule work after the part arrives.

Agreed but it's a very tiny mark and if they offered to replace both panels it would not worth my time for just that. My experience so far tells me just to move on.

My 30,000 points showed up in Ford Pass this morning, but I haven’t been contacted about the other parts of the Goodwill program yet. My HVBJB repair was done at the end of January 2024.

When I dropped off the car this afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they had already ordered the parts when I made the appointment on the 15th. They the parts for the HVBJB are at the dealership and I expect to have my car back on Monday. And they gave me a brand new F-150 XLT truck as a loaner. Plus, they told me about the goodwill program. So it appears they are on top of things.

Will see if I get the car back on Monday! But so far, so good...

So people who had their HVBJB fail before you finally got around to a permanent fix program/recall get screwed again?

Looking good as always Ford. I already know what my next car isn’t, just keep giving evidence.
They are a good company. Just led by bad people that are not competent. Just like Boeing. And the US government.

Just reciev my 30K points in my account. Does anyone know if these can be used as a partial payment for the BC subscription?

It appears maybe not, if this info is correct ….

https://www.ford.com/support/fordpass/fordpass-rewards/faqs/

That’s really too bad because that's what I was planning on using the points for.

Has anyone had success in paying for all or part of the BC subscription fee using Fordpass reward points?
I tried to get a BC subscription using my 30K points and was told that is not possible at this time. When I asked if Ford is considering changing their policy, I was told maybe but don't count on it.

What if 23S56 was cleared shortly after its release due to the HVBJB being replaced previously? A lot of us had it showing up initially before it disappeared about a week later.
My junction box failed and was replaced the week before the recall was made official in October.
I’ve called both Ford and my dealer to have this cleared and the dealer said the only way to have it cleared is to put the car back on the lift and inspect it. Kind of silly since they did the work.
Did you have any luck getting your recall cleared?
