I'm going with Cross Climate 2s as well for my 2023 GTPE, since we get cold weather here in NJ. Put up a separate post to see if any NJ GT owners want to buy my P Zero Summer OEMs (2,400 miles) for cheap. If not, guess I'll have Costco scrap them.
Sell them on FB marketplace. Somebody will give you $150 for 'em,.

I am likely going Pirelli Pzero AS+3 Elect when my tires are due. In the mid-Atlantic a big snow shuts everything down so I am not concerned about heavy snow duty, just making it through wet/cold winter conditions. I'll give some thought to Pilot Sport AS4, but I'm not sure I want the range hit.

As Steve (HuntingPudel) said earlier, I think you made the right decision going with the CC2's and he runs DWS06+'s!! Doesn't sound like you're concerned about the handling of the tire as much as wet and snow performance. The CC2's excel in the snow. I have the winter version of the CC2 (Pilot Alpin 5) and they are amazing in the snow.
And that's why I think I'm going with the DWS06+. I have the Premium Contact 6 225/50/19, the O&M Summer Tire I chose over the All Season's. At 23K miles, they are almost ready for a change (or maybe they are already ready ?). Performance is a big deal for me and I live in Atlanta, with mild winters (temps can get low, but we only see snow once every few years). Traditionally, Michelin lasts longer, but if the handling is noticeable better on the Continentals, I tend to go that way, but get a larger band (245/50/19).

Just some observations yes the DWS06+ is a known factor but what you have is a UHP summer so any of the all season tires will be a downgrade in terms of handling and wet & dry performance.

That being said the DWS06, PS4, Hypertrac, and Pirelli p zero as plus 3 are all excellent and you can't go wrong with any of them. It's a Ford vs Chevy kind of argument in which one is best.

Thank you, that helps a lot. I'm aware I will go down in performance, hence why I will go for a 2 cm wider rolling band (hopefully the car won't be so rear happy on corners). I just a get a little nervous driving a summer tire when temps go below 40, which is most mornings in the winter. And often in the 20s.

That little of a difference in with will be almost unnoticeable. If rolling resistance / efficiency is a big deal maybe the Pirelli will be a better choice. It's a EV tuned tire and would provide similar handling to the other all season tires.

I can't find the Pirelli available. To be honest, even the DWS06+ is backordered at tire rack and discount tire.

As I mentioned in a different thread I did consider getting these through TireRack and having them installed at a shop near me
<SNIP>
Just FYI, tire Rack is owned by @Discount Tire so you can get the same pricing at a Discount Tire/America’s Tire as from Tire Rack. ??

Tirerack has the Pirelli in 225/55R19 - I had to write them as it doesn't show on their site for whatever reason. I believe they are $274/ea. Your local Ford dealer can likely get them for you as well.

Edit: here ya go: Jim Ellis Ford

Hello.
I would also like to ask :)
Typically we have mild winters here in Hungary - 1-2 trips to the mountains. So I don't need mountain rubber.
The 4 season Michelin CrossClimate 2 tyre would do the trick - many people have praised it.
But I read a test where for example the Bridgestone was better.

I would look at winter tyres first, because I am very happy with the OEM summer tyres.

What would you recommend?

Things are very different in Europe and Hungary. Typically these that cross climate 2 we call all weather here in the states are called all season access the pond.

Many model tires that are sold in Europe are not sold here is the states. Also the three peak mountain snowflake standard is different.

That being said the Tyre Review website / podcast is great

Hey Peter, I'm with you and enjoy my summer tires too much to use all seasons, not that there aren't awesome all seasons out there, but between December and April, I use winter tires. Before last winter, I decided on the Michelin Alpin 5's and could not be happier. I had three criteria's. Snow Traction/Handling (came in #1), Dry handling (came in #2), comfort (came in on top) in Jonathan's 2023 Winter Tire Test. https://www.tire-reviews.com/Article/2023-Tire-Reviews-Winter-Tire-Test.htm

I have the same trim as the OP and had CC2'S put on last Wednesday. Placebo effect aside ?, they appear smoother and less noisy than the stock Pilots. I went up to a 235 for no other reason but hating the skinny tire look on the car ?.

I have so much more range than I need at 44 miles per day and charging at home every night (tracked and documented since purchase). So I have not paid attention to efficiency. Also, I got the tires just as the morning temperatures began dropping here in NH and I started using some heating before work.

I re-watched the Engineering Explained video on the CC2'S and have zero buyers remorse. Oh and I got 38K out of the stock tires. That equates to a little over two years for me. The CC2'S are supposed to be designed for less tread wear (Michelin is pretty focused on this) so we shall see.

I squeezed an extra 4k miles out of the factory summer tires, but finally pulled the trigger and got the Michelin Pilot All Season 4. I have a question:
What is the best air pressure while using the 245/50R19. The factory recommended for the Premium original 225/55R19 is 39 psi. But I read we can go lower on wider tires for better comfort, while keeping the performance. Although, for me, the performance us the most important factor.
