Did someone here check your VIN or just taking their word?
Haven’t checked it after the update. Everything seems to be in order including the updated charging curve, which I verified by going to an EA near Wesley Chapel. I had someone run the VIN before the 21G01 update and that is where I found that only the first 5 of the 12 21P22 updates were done. I went over this with the service writer and showed her the printouts. She made a further note for the tech and I left the printouts and instructions (gotten off this forum) in the car. They were gone when I picked it up. The service paperwork said that all available updates were completed and listed the missing ones from before. There was some more verbiage about the two APIM resets as well. It all seemed to make sense and, like I said, everything seems to be working well. So, I haven’t asked anyone to run the VIN as I’m currently happy with the status.

Awesome, sorry to bug ya, but I appreciate the thorough update, cause I was genuinely curious if that Service advisor would be receptive to receiving printouts, my first encounter with her was a little rough, I think they are just overworked there though.

Does anyone have any luck finding a dealership in SE Michigan who can get this working? I have had my car to suburban Ford three times and the master tech told me that the lane centering being disabled is a safety feature lol. I’ve lost all confidence in their work. My car is up to 244 and needs further updating but suburban of Sterling Heights wants to wash their hands of it.

Can you just drive over to Dearborn and knock on the door?
Jk, hopefully you can get the updates completed. You’d think dealerships in the shadow of the mothership would be on top of things.

Could someone run my VIN number in preparation for my second attempt at BlueCruise at the dealership? Want to provide them with a list of things I’m hoping they remedy before giving me the car back. Seems like the new sync is 421.

Just got mine back from the dealer - it works! I pointed out to them that 21P22 wasn’t totally completed on the last visit. They must have done them all this time. They had the car for a day and a half. They didn’t do the test drive but I checked it on the way home and Blue Cruise activated. I also checked the SYNC version was showing 264. I was a bit shocked after reading about all the trials and tribulations others have been through but I’ll take it. This time I’m the windshield and not the love bug.?
Oh, and if you’re keeping score, the car’s a Job1 and I’m in EA. Previously I had gotten 2.4.2 through OTA back on Mar 24 but nothing since a phantom 2.4.3 that just came and went as if it never happened.
Hey Mike, can I ask which dealer serviced your car?

We both use AutoNation Ford St. Pete, their service dept is kinda crazy, but you’ll get a rental for any warranty work. They have a deal with Enterprise.

Thank you. I have mine at Brandon currently and it has been there about 7 days. So far, not a bad experience by any stretch and service advisor has been great - just taking longer than expected. Since moving to the area in August last year, I’ve been trying to find the right Ford service center. I had the windshield and roof recalls done by another dealer in Sarasota area and just didn’t get the feeling they had it together with regard to EVs. I’ll keep AutoNation in mind. Thanks again for sharing.

What are you getting done at Brandon?

My audio on my Job 1 car completely went out in early April - DSP issue I think. The AMP arrived a week ago Thursday and I dropped off on Monday. While there they have been working on the updates to install Blue Cruise.

It looks as though the new updates were released tonight. Just looked up the car I successfully got BC activated on, and yesterday there were no updates available, and tonight there is this:

Ford Mustang Mach-E Optional Product Improvement Program 21G01 - BlueCruise Programming 1651461473827

I'll check again in the morning to see if anything more pops in, But hopefully if you had issues getting BC activated after the updates, applying these will finish it out.

Nice! Sounds like @generaltso did them already.

Updates are done (APIM, HVAC, GWM, and TCU). Nothing blew up.

No obvious changes (yet).

So I haven't actually test driven BC yet but I was stuck on the 1.7.1 update and did the module reset TSB and then all of the updates in my garage with FDRS and a Mongoose adapter (and a HAM radio power supply @13.8V), and am now at Sync 364 with the expected options in the menus for hands free. I need to check on an air leak on my tire before I take it out, but it feels good to be updated. It took about a day and a half to get all of the updates done with a few breaks in between, but 1.7.1 was my last OTA and the last update performed by a dealer was over a year ago, so...

I also did the optional 12v battery access holes with hole plugs. I have a laser engraver so decided to see how the hole plugs would fare with some customizing and it ain't half bad. Almost makes them look legit.

At this point, if anyone is trying to do these updates, I'd wait for the updated files to show up next week before trying again. Hopefully this will resolve a lot of the issues that people are having.
Koons Ford Silver Spring, with the help of a Field Service Engineer and folks in Dearborn, have been able to get 21G01 to work properly. Marlin now has operating BlueCruise. My wife sent me this picture:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Optional Product Improvement Program 21G01 - BlueCruise Programming 6031BA91-E385-4DB6-9D7C-1616ECD3B43F

I'm looking forward to getting home and trying it for myself.
