Just found this on the SMMT's website which could explain the reason for the stopsell order for the MME before the ecall fix had been done.

Further, the DVSA has the power to prosecute businesses that sell vehicles to consumers with an outstanding safety recall. Failure to check a car for an outstanding safety recall could lead to a fine of up to £20,000 and/ or up to three months imprisonment.

Anyone who now has their MME, and ordered extras such as mud flaps/car mats/boot liner etc as part of the online ordering process, did these items automatically come either to you or the dealer, or did the dealer have to place an order themselves? My dealer doesn't know whether these items will come with the car, or they have to order them!
I have an excellent dealer who had to order them separately but every thing was there when the car arrived except the dog guard. But even that turned up a week later.

I still don't have any pickup date. The car has been at Dagenham for a month. The latest I have is this "It's still being worked on, we are having to speak to people at Ford’s head office to get it ". How long does it take to change an invoice..........
I am very close to cancelling and have been looking at ID4 and other leasing deals.

Finally getting my SR RWD delivered tomorrow and was looking for a checklist? I know I've seen one on the forum somewhere but can't find anything in 'search'. Thanks

That is disgraceful. At the dealer's? Or in the ford compound?

Virtually everything on the accessories website is showing as out of stock at the moment!

Some good news-

had an e-mail to confirm my car is on the Grande Florida and is on it's way! I've just checked on Vessel Finder and it left Baltimore a few hours ago, now en-route to Davisville then presumably off on a cruise to Antwerp? In any event it arrives there on the 16th.

My eta at the dealers still stands at 04/09/21. We shall see! ?

So, has anybody got to grips with FordPass yet?!

Seemed to be working ok for me until this morning. Then it started showing zero information regarding my car. Was showing 0 miles and 0% charged. I decided to delete my car and the app as nothing else was working.

Now I’ve got the car back on the app but it won’t let me activate it now ?. I get the message about the app on the car’s screen and click yes but I just keep getting an error message on the app saying there was an error.

Ive never been able to set up a profile using the app but I was able to activate it before today.

Car is great but the software is appalling.

Wow that’s a very thorough list o_O

There are a few items on that list that you could check at the dealership, but a large proportion you will only realistically be able to check at home (eg functionality of the puddle lights - as they only work when it’s dark, and the VariCharger portable charging unit)

My advice would be to check fit and finish:
- Panel gap alignments and spacing
- Check for paint defects and any cosmetic damage to body or trim
- Test basic vehicle functionality (lights, wipers, indicators)

All accessories are present:
- A public charge cable bag containing a big blue Type2 charging cable with a couple of fluffy mitts for cable cleaning
- A home charger cable bag with a VariCharger unit and two adapters (a UK 3 pin plug and a blue 32A Commando)

Locate the Door pillar PIN master key card:
This will be in the glovebox or on the sunshade.

Just my 2p on the subject :)

It's an interesting piece of software isn't it? :)

Experiences vary depending on whether you are using the Android or the iOS version. Anecdotally the iOS version seems a bit more reliable, but many of the issues are server based.

I've never managed to get a profile to upload, it just keeps saying I need to add my VIN to my account even though I have.

Like you I've removed and reauthorised my vehicle so many times I've lost count, and I was also having some issues with the authorisation process yesterday. I've also tried using the Reset function on the car in combination with removing the vehicle from the app, deleting and reinstalling the app, essentially starting from fresh. Still won't do a profile upload.

Sometimes just leaving it for a few hours allows the servers and the car some time to sync/catch-up, which can help if it's got itself in a tizzy.

Oddly I also seem to have a USA account on Ford.com as well as an EU account at Ford.co.uk - I sometimes wonder if the UK site isn't quite linked up properly as logging into the US one seems to give better data.

I also have dabbled with FordPass Pro - some others have had some success with that - but I didn't like it, and it gave reduced functionality around charging schedules etc.

I personally have come to the conclusion that the UK/EU site isn't quite fully baked yet - and hopefully they will fix some of these issues with website updates soon. :)
