I hate nothing about this car, I really enjoy it every time I get behind the wheel. Well, I enjoy it every time I get close to it. Isn't it true love?

There are a few things that I'd like it to have. Power frunk, an ability to use the battery to power the house during a power outage, start/stop music from a button on the steering wheel... There are probably a few more things that I cannot think about right now. There are also some software annoyances, but nothing that ruins the car for me.

Hate is a strong word but here are my couple of gripes:

1. Bouncy rides - This is a common complain. I'm gonna install the rear sway bars and new shocks after the experiment they're doing here in the forums to fix it. Honestly, I think I've gotten used to it now and reducing tire pressure helps as well.
2. Frunk closing - I literally have to slam the thing. Others have mentioned that if you miss the 2 latches and only catch 1 latch, you can press on it and it closes, but mine never does for some reason
3. Screen lag - Honestly, not a big deal since 99% of the time, you only need the thing for maps and it works REALLY well for me however having a more snappier screen would have really been appreciated.

Apart from these 3, I've had no other issues. PAAK for me has always worked. I have an iPhone 13 Pro and maybe that is why it is consistent but I've had 0 issues so far with it! Software has also been great in my experience. Updates actually work and make a meaningful difference unlike other competitors where it is still a pipe dream (ahem VW)

Totally, it's like sword of Damocles every day. Shameful the way Ford handled it, knowing they could fail at any time and not doing anything about it until after the fact. They're basically saying they don't care at all about your time or the inconvenience it will cost if/when it fails when you're on a road trip or far from home with a car full of family, etc. My recommendation would be to pick a time where it's convenient for you to not have the car for a while, prepare yourself accordingly, then go on a spree of DC fast charging followed by as many 0-60 runs as you can. Repeat until the HVJB fails (shouldn't take too long) and you get the stop safely now message, and drive it straight to your preferred dealer for a fresh new HVJB 😃
The problem with that theory is that you will weaken the HVBJB and then when you least expect it, boom, you’re screwed.

I guess I should just WOT every day past my Ford dealership And maybe I will be lucky that it breaks in their driveway.

Jeez! You're all over this forum and frequently have helpful things to say when people have questions, but now I wonder seriously why you even have an MME. 🤔

That is a really good list. I read the whole thing and of the 86 items, many are not applicable for me, and the others don't bother me. But a lot of them could be nice improvements.

I hope you can make it to 100. I'll suggest one: visibility from the driver's seat is not very good.

No Dog Inside Car mode. Wish it had a better sound system available.

So yesterday I had the opportunity to test drive a Polestar. Yah no thanks. Everything about the MME felt instantly smoother (yes actually smoother) and better built. That's at least one EV I'll seat below our car.

I know someone who just opened up a used EV dealership with some 400 cars available. Going to take the opportunity to test drive a lot in comparison. I'll see if that makes me love or dis-love 😜 Sheeba more or less.

Ha, it's still more like than hate at this point, but there are a LOT of tiny annoyances with it. A bunch of small things can add up to overall frustrating experience though. For all the other Ford's I've owned (and I've only ever owned Fords) the list has been less than 10 long, but at 70+ gripes the Mach-E knocks everything else I've owned out of the park. I knew early adoption would have more issues, but Ford messed up on SO MANY things I never expected them to. Like how do you just skip suspension tuning during vehicle development? Mark and others are making way more progress there as a weekend project than Ford did in three model years.

The Mach-E is 75% of the way to being a good car, but that last 25% is really tough. I'm not alone, there is definitely a "silent majority" of Mach-E owners that are very frustrated with Ford's shortcomings on this vehicle (from HVBJB, to snail's pace of software updates, and more) and seriously question ever buying a Ford again.

Part of the reason I help people on here is so they don't have to be as frustrated as I am with their issues. Ford can't seem to learn how to properly help customers in a meaningful way, maybe I can.

Not hate, but things I’m disappointed in 4 months in ownership:

1) the profiles set when people get in the car is sporadic. My wife and I both use the car, both have iPhones. When we are together riding or separate, there is not regular behavior with which profile is chosen when you get in the car.

2) Updates and adjustments. Ford is still not there with its software dev. I set my home charging in the Ford App to 90%, but after an update overnight it goes to 100% on its own. Surprised that is not a first validation check whenever an update occurs.

3) heated rear seats, ventilated front seats. Pretty standard, should be there.

4) back up chime, would like to adjust to a little less annoying, even if you can adjust for location. My neighbors have to love hearing that multiple times a day.

Fair enough, but seeing that list coming from you was certainly surprising.
