When I rented a Ford Fusion, I got used to the rotary shift. I found that if you keep turning it will stop at D, so I didn't need to look when I selected D. R was one click out of P, so that was easy enough. This appears to be the best option to reduce space, provide L button, and use existing Ford part designs.

Doesn’t the screen in front show the gear you are in?

Few more things.

I really like the rotary dial location on my Jaguar XK. Particularly with the similarly located start button. Admittedly I only ever looked at when reversing or parking not bothered by an L position.

Yes, on the right side of the driver display. I’m not a fan of the dial either, but I’m going to get used to it. ?

Normally you will only get a fix-it-ticket if you get stopped for something else.

I saw ton of teslas not having front license plate here even though CA supposes to enforce it. So Ford should really leave the decision to the customer..

Yea, I have seen number of Tesla ones off-center, crooked etc. But mostly not there at all.

Do like the idea that these were just stuck on. The one M3 that I saw that had the license plate sticker on the front wasn't really a lot better than the bracket now that I think about it, especially knowing that the bracket is just stuck on with tape anyway.

Also easy to go on crooked or not centered probably.

The Mach E should have considered holes that are accessed from below the bumper.

For me, I think it's too far back. Needs to be further up, Or let the seat go back more. Plenty of room with the seat position But sometimes I like to rest my arm there. Just felt like the armrest needs to be moved up some. Also when you go to look in the middle compartment you kinda feel it's moved back too far. Just my take on it.

The situation with the arm rest is something I’ll never understand. Every Audi uses an adjustable center arm rest. It’s not complicated, just plastic that lets you move it forward/backward maybe a total of 8-10 inches and adjust it up/down another 4-5 inches! Maybe they have it patented? But it’s so simple I don’t know why every manufacturer doesn’t employ it. It’s one thing I really like in my S3.

The Bolt's armrest slides forward for adjustment....I can't stand it.

I like the armrest all the way back because that is the only position it will let you open it to get at your junk stored in it. The problem is that with someones arm resting on it and coming to a stop causes it to slide forward.

CR-V has a sliding armrest and I find it annoying for the same reason. It slides when I don't want it to.

My Bolt does that also.

Our Mercedes electric has a sliding center arm rest, no problems with it moving once it's set into either full forward or backward position.

When we bought our Bolt, we didn't know it slid forward. We called the dealer to tell them the damn thing was defective because it wouldn't open. ?

I was watching a Nissan Ariya walk-around video, and the whole center console moves forwards and backwards electronically.
