$59,995 for 2024 Mach-E Rally - less than was previously thought

GT also has a price cut to $53,995.

https://www.carsdirect.com/automotive-news/industry-news/2024-ford-mustang-mach-e-rally-costs-59-995

"The highly anticipated 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally will cost $59,995, according to a letter sent to dealers today. That's actually a $3,500 price cut compared to the EV's previous MSRP. At that price, the price difference between the new Mach-E Rally and the high-performance Mach-E GT version will amount to $6,000."

The 2024 Ford Mach-E Rally's MSRP is listed at $59,995 excluding destination, making it the most expensive version of the all-electric SUV. As CarsDirect reported earlier today, Ford cut 2024 Mach-E prices by up to $6,000. The move isn't all that surprising given that Ford introduced price cuts to the 2023 Mach-E last month.

Interestingly, Ford says its original price for the Mach-E Rally was supposed to be $63,495, $4,500 more than the GT's price of $58,995. Today's price cut on the GT amounted to $5,000, bringing its sticker price down from $58,995 to $53,995. As a result, the cost to upgrade from the GT to the Rally went from $4,500 to $6,000.

So a brand new GT Performance Edition is likely still about $64,000 out the door?

LMAO.

What door are you going out that ends up $10k more than the sticker price?!?!? BTW, there is no PE for 2024.

So you can order one. They already dropped the price. But……….

When are they going to tell us how much horsepower and tq it has?

People already have build dates in April and Ford is hiding the horsepower……why?? It’s not like the power is going to change in the next few weeks. Just tell us already!

And if the “at least 480/650” becomes actually just 480/650……. That’s lame.

Oh okay! I made a poor assumption that if the 24 GT (non PE) is $54, then a 24 GT PE would be about 10% more per the norm, and the OTD would therefore be closer to $64 for 24 GTPE.

But your reply helped to clarify that the RALLY essentially replaces the PE. So in other words, the “new PE” is about the price OTD I was thinking about. And the non PE stays just shy of $60k OTD.

Also as an interesting side note, it seems like now the 2024 GT gets some features exclusive to the PE trim which is great news and it reinforced the point I continued to make is that the plain GT trim was just not the best price to performance trim when GTPE was just $4-5k away.

Here is the Ford’s official update for the 2024 GT trim:

“Plus, new standard features to the GT model include:

  • MagneRide Damping System for optimal handling performance
  • Performance-focused components including 385-millimeter front rotors with red-painted Brembo(R) branded front brake calipers
  • Ford Performance front seats now with 10-Way Power Driver Seat”

We only ever had the GTPE here in Canada. MSRP on a '24 is $69,995 CAD, to just sneak under our Federal rebate. A brand new '22 was $92k!

Will you be happier if it comes in at 481/651?

Yep. Between the price cut, the rebate and dealer incentive, a new ‘23 GTPE cost just slightly less than I paid for my ‘22 Premium SR RWD! Then when you add in the fact that they’re offering 0.99% interest on a 4 yr lease with a surprisingly high residual…well…

The only way they could clear these out faster would be to just start handing out the keys and saying, “Just take it!”…

Seriously, what focus group told Ford "we want an off-road version of the Mach-E that will never actually see any off-roading"?

And that's being charitable, this isn't even an off-road vehicle. It's a "rally"...who the fuck has anywhere to rally a car? Some off-road trails, sure, but that's for rock-crawlers and water-waders like Broncos and Wranglers, etc. Who is flying around turns on these dirt roads and trails? I don't know about you, but I don't have a "closed course - do not attempt" near me lol

I would also like to add this does not say the PE feature is included in the regular GT trim. I would be interested to see if it's included or still a $5000 package here in the USA. The performance boost for the GT is also not acknowledged details will come.

Update, yes Magneride confirmed as standard on GT
