I try to have some grace for companies that struggle while attempting to do the right thing. But as someone who had to jump-my-frunk and tear apart trim panels in the cold/dark due to my MMe’s failure to charge the 12v battery, I can tell you it’s easy to lose confidence in your car. Reading all this gives me confidence-PTSD.…..
You need to drill ports to access the 12V charge points it is better than having to rip it all apart. There is a thread about 2" ports and plugs here somewhere. May help but I hear you.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's possible that they didn't actually update anything as FDRS didn't have the 22S41 update since the end of last week.

It doesn't matter.

The OTA system will query the vehicle and push the 22S41 module software if the appropriate modules are not at the 22S41 required level. This whole thread is largely irrelevant, although mildly entertaining.

Ron, with respect, is it irrelevant if you got to a dealer and they tell you that a safety recall is complete that can stop your car from basically bricking but in reality it isn't? I mean, obviously you guys can massively increase the OTA rate and hit the cars ASAP, but I definitely think it is something people should know if they're going to dealers and are told the recall is complete when it isn't.

So 22S41 is back on the menu?
I couldn’t say, other than that is what my car says.

Perhaps they just decided to save some money on paying the dealerships to install the software… ?‍♂

All these Ford employees want to chime in and say what a joke it is. Why didn't they have the cajones to step up and say thanks for pointing this out and we are working on it back when we first created the thread???

Shows the culture inside the company really well. We know something is broken but we'll just play them as fools and then comment after.

So I walked into my dealership today and told them I read on the internets that there was a recall. They said nope, there was never any recall. I told them the internets told me the recall was just recalled and then they said oh yeah they recalled that particular recall but right now it doesn't seem to be available and I should re-call them tomorrow. Great guys!
