Actually, a long time ago, some job 1 owners reported seeing a (non-working) frunk button in FordPass that quickly went away.

Yup, I was one of those people. But it was a BCM update that brought it, not a FordPass update.

This version of the FordAss app is crashing on an iPhone 13 pro max, all updated. Anybody else having the same problem. Rebooting, removing and reinstalling has not solved the stability issue.

Weird. I have that exact model of phone and it's working fine for me.

Chargers map still defaults to Germany

I never use the map charger function in the Ford app but mine is in Germany as well. Not much help here in Texas but next time I road trip to Germany I'll be all set.

I think that is normal with this app. For some it works fine others it doesn't work.
Same phones with same OS's on either Android or Apple and it never is consistent in operation.

I think I’ll stick with 4.17.1 for now. Not seeing a clear need to update given all the issues being brought up.

So far my iPhone 13 Pro iOS 15.6 works just fine with FP4.19.0

Still on 4.18.0 on Android. Ford will probably push iPhone to 4.25.0 before they send a new update to Android at this rate.

I have finally come to rest with the lack of a functional frunk button. Found inner joy and peace.
Now I am angry all over again.

Not exactly sure. The two main issues I've been having is the charge indication, and I won't charge until tomorrow so can't say.
And yesterday I received OTA 2.8.3, and I can't get the notice to go away.

It's on the main screen, I tap it, it tells me Update Successful. but when I return to home, it's still there

I'll go to vehicle and the badge says Vehicle Status 1 'Alert' (why call it an alert?). Tap that and it opens Active Alerts, tap that and it again tells me Update Successful

Go to Accounts, Message Center and there's no notice there about 2.8.3, however, there are two notices about Blue Cruise, but they are marked as red.

Meh. Off/On the app, Off/On the phone. Still have ALERT!! Danger Will Robinson!! You have a Successful Update!

Preferred charging location problem. Don't know if it is a result of the FordPass update or the recall update. I got both the same night. I lost all my previous and saved charging locations and not able to add a new one.. The app is asking me to begin the setup for preferred charge times but I cannot do that without having a previous destination or saved destination. Any suggestions?

The recall update wiped my charge locations. I always setup charging in the car, never the app. Seems more stable.
