I was totally set on doing this today. But the attempt of getting Win11 on a M2 Macbook derailed the entire thing. But this will happen this week!
the peace and quiet will be worth the effort.

Yep! I realized I can get my 18 yr old Dell laptop out of my toolbox and have a power tap right next to the drivers door so i cranked this out before heading across town this morning. Along with the GT start up screen fer fun. It's a bit quieter for sure. I left the pass side belt minder on as my wife seems to space it from time to time. I flipped the hatch chime to #2. Not seeing a difference.

i took the plunge and found the one that disables the seatbelt warning chime when you start the car before you've put on your seatbelt. i just tested it and it's absolute bliss.

in FORScan it's in the "IPC Configuration" (not the As-Built), search for "seatbelt", and select the "Seatbelt Warning Market". it should say "USA" on our US market cars. if you edit it to "Europe" the seatbelt chime on startup w/o buckling goes away.

here is mine after the change:

forscan-swm.PNG

the FORScan configuration routine changes quite a few variables in 720-01-01 and 720-01-02 so would be a bit more difficult trying to do it via the As-Built/direct access method.

i also changed the chimes similar to @TJSparky above but left my passenger side minder alone:

these along with disabling the double-honk have tamed my MME noisy nanny and i'm much happier now. ?
Thank you!! I finally did this and it is crazy what a difference it makes lol. I also left the passenger one on.

Now, if only someone could figure out how to reprogram the "park assist" button by the ebrake to be the camera button instead, that would be the icing on the cake!

Good man. Thank you! Finally shut off the "Bump and Grind". Now if only I could find a setting to turn off One Pedal Driving while in reverse.

It is totally worth it!

Side note, for those with 'not-a-gt's' that updated the center screen to the GT, is there a setting for the IPC? Kinda dumb that I have a blue IPC and a gold center.
I'm also hunting for a steering wheel weight option somewhere. My wheel is as heavy on whisper as a GTPE in Unbridle, and it only gets worse as I go 'up' my drive modes. (Or something is wrong with my steering, which is possible)

No, there does not seem to be any IPC splash screen option.

I don't see that setting either.

The Mach-E has reverse sequential turn signals, at least my GT does. It does the sequence quite rapidly. I retrofitted my previous Mustang GT with sequential, and that looked quite different. There is no Forscan setting I can see.

Anyone know how to enable saving a seat setting while driving and how to override the youtube/media lock while driving?

I would love to see steering wheel temp setting. My '23 GTPE steering wheel heater is WEAK.
I agree my '22 had a warmer steering wheel than my '23. When I asked a service tech he suggested there might be a heated steering wheel temperature sensor that we might be able to disable but I'm worried that would melt it lol. Any luck with this?

Anyone knows how to enable the walk away lock honk for the EU cars? I think it is enabled in US.

No luck yet sorry. I kind of forgot about it over summer. I will come back here and update you if I find a solution.

I believe that there is just variability in manufacturing. The wheel heat element is probably buried deeper on your ‘23 steering wheel than it was on your ‘22 wheel. I don’t think there is a sensor. They can probably add code to control the PWM for the heating element unless it’s hard-coded. ?‍♂?

There are no settings or adjustments in FORScan that can change the temperature of the heated steering wheel.

Steve, you are correct in that there is a variable in manufacturing, however that variable is where the steering wheel heater and sensor are placed in the wheel. I mentioned this a year or so ago in another thread that brought up this question.

The sensor (thermistor) in my premium was placed further away from the heater therefore the steering wheel became hotter. The one in my GTPE was closer to the heater so my wheel barely got warm. I actually pulled the steering wheel apart and dug into the area where the sensor was (at the bottom of the wheel) and moved it away from the heater and it now gets much warmer. I was lucky though as sometimes the sensor is buried in the foam part of the wheel and cannot be accessed without damaging part of the wheel. I know this because I've had several custom steering wheels made for the cars and have had it damaged. Also, you cannot remove the sensor because with it out of the circuit, the heater will not come on.

From the service manual:

Heated Steering Wheel:
When the vehicle is on and the SCCM (Steering Column Control Module) receives a request to heat the steering wheel, the SCCM applies voltage and ground to the steering wheel heating elements to heat the steering wheel to a temperature of approximately 82-94°F (28-34°C). The heated steering wheel temperature is maintained by the SCCM using a temperature sensor in the steering wheel. The SCCM is designed to remain on, heating the steering wheel and maintaining the temperature until switched off on the FDIM or the ignition is turned off. The controls and indicators for the heated steering wheel system are located on the FDIM (touchscreen) only. The FDIM does not communicate on any network and is connected directly to the APIM
