What do you do when the price shown for X plan build from shop.ford.com does not match the dealer shown invoice?
I just put the order in, dealer showed me price and its $1728 more than the X-plan as shown on the shop.ford.com site. :(

I called the X plan people and they were no help.

I know the GM will say "the website is screwed up" but when I bought my 2022 F150 the website matched the invoice exact.

according to dealer invoice shown, x plan is only a $850 discount which is not in line with outer fords I have bought in the past with X plan.
but the price on the ford web site IS more in line with what I have seen in the past.

Well, Looky here.. Looks like it is again, and for a better discount, probably to make up for the half Tax credit.

2 years ago mine was $950 or so. I was glad to get it back then. Supposedly Ford has 3 months of inventory on dealer lots so you could shop around

those of you that run x plan numbers, you will see what I mean.
premium RWD, vapor blue, extended battery, interior protection plan.

I ran a couple other vehicles and tried to price them up to the 50-60K range

escape 3.7% discount
Edge 4% discount
explorer 3.6% discount
F150 6% discount

off website, Mach E 4.5% discount
dealers document x plan gave me 1.4% discount.

And I think that $2000 rebate does not apply but I can't find much on that on internet.
Note Vehicle must be ordered prior to May 1, 2023

I could save $7K on the battery. The only reason we picked the battery was 2x per year the wife makes a 250 mile round trip to spring training. Since she has charge hesitation, I can rent her a car for $75 for the day :) (and the battery appers to bring about 50% on trade based on 2021 data)

I got my 2023 on Dec. 31 and got x plan and the full $7500 tax credit. Car was ordered Aug. 31. Premium, AWD, extended range battery and red. Of course price was also higher then.

At the end of the day, X plan is a very strict program and the dealership has to use the exact numbers from Ford, whatever they are.

When did you order?

You could be comparing the 2023.5 model numbers to a 2023 that you ordered.

And those will be different. The 2023 1/2 is a different vehicle with different options and a different price. Lots of details on that in other threads.

Well all this guessing on the website and that is not needed, the dealer is required for all plan deals to give you a printout that shows you X-Plan, A/Z-Plan, and D-Plan pricing. It will be a direct Ford generated print out, and whatever the price says on there is what you have to pay. I will hunt through my saved Ford docs as I likely have mine for my F-150 at least, but we do A-Plan and our dealer always prints it out for us once we have the VIN (if ordered) or find a vehicle on lot or whatever.

But if the dealer already handed you that page, then what the X-plan site says is irrelevant, all that matters is what that page says.

It also may be simpler than that, the X-plan site even says that it doesn't include destination, which I think is $1800. While not exactly $1728, it's possible the final value the dealer is giving you includes destination. I am not sure if it typically does or not.

You can do the math yourself and confirm the numbers. But like @Vulnox said, it’s a printout from ford and dealer has no opportunity to mess it up. I’ll try to look for the math and post here.
