We took the car to a different dealership and found out I, in fact, Do Not have the extended Range battery and this was something done at the assembly line.

Did everyone miss this part?

Just curious how the dealer figured this out.

240 miles of range during winter on a full charge means it is impossible.

Really a shame after two years and multiple info being sent from Ford about range, they still don’t get it.

I had a 2021 standard range select awd, regularly got 240-260 miles per charge in summer

Now that I think about it, it has said up to 225 briefly in the summer. I put 245 tires on mine which explains why you got 240 but mine has stayed lower. Forgot about that.

Perhaps just a troll as there has been no further response but to be fair some people just do not understand how the batteries work and then to have (supposedly) a Ford dealer confirm they have the smaller battery well I can see their confusion. Then comes the dog pile! Maybe I am being too soft but in this case maybe some education and patience is in order.

As much as I hate dealerships, I do feel bad for them dealing with Karens OP.

If the dealership had half a clue, this would be easy for them to explain and not let it escalate into such a fiasco. The dealership is partially responsible here.
