Since 90% of my driving is on non blue cruise hwy, i only use the lane assist on. To me makes no sense to use cruise control on non highways with so many lights, stops, and different speeds. I know people do, jusT not me. I use BC on the highway when not crowded with cars.
Same. The closest BC highway is 30 min from my house and definitely not a part of my daily commute.

Kinda surprised by the poll results so far. I didn’t think that many people live so close to a BC highway.

My closest BC highway is 1 hour from my home and even when I am on it I don't use any ADAS.

Mostly local roads with lane-keeping. I get to use BC on bi-weekly Costco runs (50 mi one-way) and on road trips. Paid $600 for three years of HF-BC, but I turn it off when there is too much traffic.

I use level 2 just about everywhere I can. I am in a rural area, so mostly single lane each direction county and state roads, so all hands-on BC. The closet hands-free road is about a 70 mile drive away. But as soon as I get there, I go hands free.

I use the hands-on BC even when I'm in town on 25 mph roads and 20 mph school zones to keep my speed steady. For whatever reason, the school zones in my county are active all day and about a mile long.

My wife always asks how/why I use the cruise control so much. The hands-free BC freaks her out! She hardly ever uses any cruise control in any car. I did get her to use 1PD though, so a little win for me ?

Tell me if I'm odd, but...

Before the update that removed the centered speedometer, I drove primarily on Level 0, but used Blue cruise (lvl2) any opportunity I was on a long drive. I enjoyed the animations.

Now that the centered speedometer is gone, I leave it on Level 1 so that the car on the screen isn't completely useless... ? And still use Blue cruise when on long drives.

I live in Miami very rarely use blue cruise. Too much traffic and too many idiots on the road. I do use lane centering. A bit annoying if I try to change lanes without my turn signal. Really pulls. I am sure I am not renewing. In 2022 ford added 600 to each car for blue cruise 3 years.

Feel like one of the lucky ones. I have a 55 mile commute each direction, 50 of these are on Interstates near Denver. I use BC in the morning with lighter traffic - only use it part way on the way home because of the traffic. I always turn lane keeping off when not using BC because I dislike the way the steering feels. BTW, we have a windy day here in Denver today - I think BC does an excellent job holding the lane under windy conditions. I really enjoy having BC but when it comes time to renew, I may not be able to justify the cost.

Level 0 locally. Level 2 whenever I’m on a limited access highway and it’s available.

No self-steering for me, unless I just need to take my hands off the wheel to do something for 20 seconds when there's no cars near me. I'll use LC quickly for that.

To me, it's MORE stressful to have to still watch constantly like I'm steering but then stay on edge and ready to jump in and grab the wheel at any split second.

IMO, what self-steering really does is allows people to get complacent and NOT pay much attention anymore. So if something DOES goes wrong, they've deadened their reaction times and are less likely to correct in time. In other words, to do it RIGHT, it's more stressful; to so it WRONG, it's more dangerous.

So, no thanks.

After my Blue Cruise subscription expired, I have been using the built in Copilot 360 with seems to provide almost the same functionality except I have to keep light pressure on the steering wheel.

Blue Cruise roads near me are few and far between, so the subscription is not worth it. But I use lane centering all of the time with the intelligent cruise control it real takes the stress out of my weekly 2 hour trip.

I use everything to the max all of the time: Lane keeping, cruise control, Blue Crise, speed limit recognition, traction control, ABS, head light auto, windshield auto, name it, I like it.

I got use to the feel of lane keeping with hands-on with my RAV4, it took a while. About everything turned off if you touched the brakes. Bad! Its cruise control would not control speed going downhill, except at freeway speed. MME keeps me within one mph for the most part. My governing rule - the car does all of that, and my job is to maintain full situational awareness at all times. I figure at my age I may miss something for a couple seconds (it rarely happens), but the car is also paying attention to a lot of things, and it does not get tired. Between the two of us, me and my car, we are going to be safe.

While the RAV4 system was horribly kludgy, I got use to making it work for me, and appreciated all that assistance. The MME segues very easily and audibly as it switches modes of ADAS.

You may just need more practice to get more comfortable with it.

I find myself using BC, but keeping my hands on the wheel.

It just makes driving……easier. Just like anti-lock brakes, cruise control, blind spot monitoring, cross traffic alert, crash avoidance, etc they are driving AIDS not driver REPLACEMENTS.

Most of my driving is local, so 1. When on the highway I’m normally going a short distance so 1 or maybe 2 for fun.

Driving any decent distance is full BC.

Never 0. Why would I want 0?
