Update 5: Ford sent an engineer to my dealership and they updated the following:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Deep Sleep Mode - 12v battery drained dead [update: Mach-E jump started] Screenshot_20210227-192511_Acrobat for Samsun

UPDATE 4

I turned the car on this morning and the Power train fault disappeared from the dashboard and no longer appears in the Ford Pass App. I am going to keep an eye on it today. The temperature now is -18 outside, so it will be interesting to see what happens while I'm here at work. Praying it starts or Ford Roadside will be getting a call and straight to the dealer.

UPDATE 3

The powertrain light that popped when looking in the manual on page 150 is under the the "high voltage battery" header. Wonder if it wasn't charging the 12v enough. My vehicle was built Jan 9. Did not go to speedway. It had religiously been on the charger every night since I got it Wednesday due to the extreme cold Temps. Outside it has been lows of -22 with a high of 0 for Saturday into Sunday and now Monday. I also had it precondition before I'd go anywhere while still plugged in. It's 22 above in my garage.

UPDATE 2

Thank you everyone for the responses and help. I've had this portable jump starter for two years and never used it for my ICE cars. Just had it and charged ready to go. I opened the front bumper panel, connected the reds and blacks, frunk opened. Then the fun part began. Taking off the back panel then windshield washer side panel. What a pain in the ass. Two of the clips are now somewhere under the hood for the back panel.

Jump started a car, my very first time, and she came back to life. HOWEVER, now I have the same powertrain issue Savage has. Made appointment with dealer already online. Thank you again everyone!! Will update when my dealer figures it out.

UPDATE 1

Added info on unlocking vehicle if 12v battery dies - posted by @ay221

How to unlock my vehicle if the 12 volt battery is dead? You must apply 12 volt power to the 12 volt system -- directions:
Jump Starting the Vehicle

ORIGINAL POST

Temps in MM have gone down to -22 degrees. I left the MME plugged in all night to charge and went to leave just now and it's a brick. Can't get in, can't do anything. Ford App says deep sleep in effect. How do I wake it?!

I'd try pressing buttons on the car: the unlock button by the charge port, and the door open button on the B-pillar.

Assuming neither wakes it up, you may have a dead 12V battery. :( I don't know. This sucks. :(

check the 12V battery. there's a theory that sometimes the 12V goes flat right now and this can be resolved with a jump start / trickle charge (see the manual for the jump points). I don't think there's enough information on this right now to have any pattern.

Deep sleep is a way for the vehicle to protect the 12v battery for draining. Maybe the cold caused the voltage to drop enough that it is trying to protect itself? My uneducated suggestions if nothing else is working would be to try to use a space heater to get a bit of heat to the battery?

Ouch, can you start the car or open the door from the FordPass app?

Ford pass app everything says car is in deep sleep and to manually start. No key fob working, no door key on pillar, nothing but an Electric Brick.

Do you have a jump starter or other 12v battery you can connect to the leads in the front bumper to see if it pops the frunk open?

Sounds like they first need to get inside before that could work

Was the car successfully charging when you plugged it in? Perhaps it had stopped unexpectedly and as a result it entered deep sleep mode.

I second the others here to see if you can jump the hood and the 12V battery.

He can't get in to the car to do that.

Kind of like shipping a VCR with a video on how to connect it. ?

It was a REALLY bad idea for ford not to have a traditional keyhole somewhere, given that the fob has a key blank in it anyway

Agreed. But in addition to the keyhole, it would also need a mechanical way to physically open the door or trunk. Even if the car is unlocked, there’s no way to get in without power since all of the latches are electronic.
