We have had our GT since Sep 21. Reached 5,000 trouble free miles this week. So fun to drive and very comfortable. I do not find the ride to be harsh, but I am used to sporty cars. No regrets.

Oh c'mon ... stop instilling fear over a chip shortage. Unless you've been living under a rock and haven't driven past a car dealership in the last 2 years you should know that the chip shortage is not just for cars. Some of the advanced security equipment that we use at work has 2 year lead times right now.

If people are mad because they have to wait, well that's just life right now. Shutting down the economy and giving out handouts has consequences. What really gets me though is that people aren't proactive about finding a solution to their problem. If you don't want to wait, then search!

I've told my story on here a number of times, I had a GTPE on order, wanted to get it in 2021 and my order kept getting pushed out so I found one across the USA and shipped it to me. The OP has 401 brand new MME's within 200 miles of him (cited). If the dealer you ordered from has one ask them to sell you one on the lot for MSRP and then they can sell yours with ADM when it comes in.

For me its the fact that dealers do not know how to work on them. I sold it with 14k miles after the dealer had it for a month for simple fixes. I frankly just gave up as it can be the greatest car in the world but if you cant drive it then its all for not....

I want to fall in love with my MME GT. It has a lot of potential but, at this point, I do not and can not recommend the MME. I would NOT recommend one to any friend or family member.

I don't recommend the MME for one reason: SOFTWARE.

The car, physically, is built so well and it looks so good. The quality of the materials throughout the car really are great. The build quality blows Tesla out of the water and this car really has the potential to be an amazing machine but it has simply not been reliable. My user experience is buggy buggy buggy. I'm constantly re-saving settings and resetting the car. Sometimes my door will open on the first try...sometimes it wont. There's just a lot of little things that really start to add up and give a poor user experience. The service advisor at my local dealer told me that all of the Mach-E's that come back for service are for software related issues. Not hardware. I'm confident that this will be a pretty great car once the bugs are worked out. I'm not confident in Fords timeline for rolling out updates. This is my first Ford and, based on what I've seen so far, the launch of the F-150 lightning has a very strong potential to fail and to completely tarnish Fords reputation as a legitimate EV manufacturer. I want to believe but it's not looking good so far.

Um, it's the internet. Of course there are negative posts. No one posts "everything's OK", lol.
People are more motivated by negative emotions. Say, you came to a restaurant and one waiter greeted you with a smile and another spat in your face, what kind of review are you likely to write?

I've owned two Model 3s, an ID.4, and now the MME. I hoped the MME would have the best qualities of the Model 3 and ID.4. Driving engagement and more exotic appearance from the Model 3 and space, utility, ride comfort, and all-weather capabilities of the ID.4. I think it checks all those boxes except ride comfort. Unfortunately, that's proving to be a big challenge to me. I'm also still calibrating myself to the MME's relatively pessimistic (but maybe more realistic) GOM. Range should be within 10% of the ID.4 based on efficiency and battery capacity, but the MME would never tell you that. It was certainly easier to maximize cold weather range in the ID.4 by modulating the HVAC. Seats and seating position are also just better in the ID.4 for me and my body.

I still hope a combination of warmer weather (less frost heave and softer tires), different tires, and/or suspension upgrades (when available) will sort out my ride quality complaints. We'll see. I think Ford's calibration of shocks/struts, spring rates, tires, and tire inflation recommendation is just wrong.
Which trim level do you have?

I picked mine up in early November and now have close to 2100 miles on it, and I LOVE IT!
Fit & finish is fine and software works very well. There have been a couple of minor issues (like sometimes windshield wipers activate for no reason, or center screen will update while in motion) but this car is fun to drive!
I hope you will like yours as much as I do.

Quite a few members in this thread have stated "best car I've ever owned" and I will say the same goes for me. I had a Premium for 9 months, 10K miles and now a GTPE for 3 months, 4K miles. Have only had a couple of minor announces with the software and that's it. Having to deal with computers and software for many many years, these things don't bother me in the least. Eventually they get worked out. I am fairly sure all of my posts have been positive and hopefully helpful to this forum.

Is my Mach-E the best handling car I have ever owned? Fastest? Most fun to drive? No to all of those but it does them all decently well in one versatile package which keeps me finding excuses to drive it any chance I get. 99% of my charging is at home on solar and not having to stop at gas stations is so satisfying to me. I can't wait to see what's in store for BEV's in the future.
Can you elaborate in the ride quality of the GTPE, notice a difference with Magneride? Thoughts on the seats? Thanks!

I’m coming up my 1yr anniversary. I love the car. I have zero regrets. You will likely love yours, too, but you are in for a long wait.

I’m also not gonna come here and pump sunshine. The car has its bugs and design flaws - mostly in the software. It should be better. Ford is fixing things and making improvements, but it is slow. It should be faster. Many here are frustrated not by the bugs, but that Ford takes a long time to address them, isn’t super clear/transparent in its communications, and tends to miss deadlines.

So I get a little annoyed when people criticize “all the negativity” (this is not directed anyone in particular). But I’ll end where I began: you’ll likely love the car.

I ordered a Premium in 1/14/22 and I’m seeing so many negative posts. I’m I making a mistake in buying the Mach E.
I order Premium RWD Ext Battery on 2/3/21 got my car on 1/3/22, that was a pain in the ass, I almost said no way. But, I am glad I have it now, it is one of the best looking EV's on the market, it drives wonderful, I like the ride and comfort. I only have 750miles so far but I have enjoyed all of them. It has some quirks, yes, but I'm getting use to them. Never bought a car that didn't have some.

This right here, 100%.
...and we both have the axle noise issue too! Also almost 1yr anniversary.

Finally getting my car back after a month in the shop (still not fixed yet - parts delay) made me realize how much I missed it! Love having her back, "bouncy" ride, axle noise, and all! Great car, and you will be fine with the MY22'.

P.S - Instant torque is a drug, and I'm addicted.
