Hi all,
Going to receive my MME Premium eAWD sometime in the next month hopefully. That said, I have been looking at installing a charger in my garage because I have read that the 240 amp charger that the Mach E comes with isn't the most robust. From this list, which charger would you recommend (these are chargers that are incentivized by my electric company.) I have been leaning toward the EA charger or a JuiceBox.
Thanks!

Dude, this forum has so many posts about EVSEs and the ones people like. I recommend you search the forum and do a lot of reading. BTW - the one I purchased and recommend isn't in the list: emporia.

Something’s wrong with that list. The only ChargePoint options listed are commercial pedestal stations that cost thousands of dollars, half of which are DC fast chargers.

Assuming the list is correct, there are a number of residential chargers included... just not the ChargePoint. The residential ones I recognize are the Electrify America HomeStation, The Enel X JuiceBox 32/40/48, the Grizzl-E (listed as United Chargers) and the Wallbox Pulsar Plus. The only one of the bunch I have personal experience is the Pulsar Plus which I have no complaints about. (ok, a dim option for the lights would have been nice)

Right. But the ChargePoint Home Flex is one of, if not the most common home EVSEs out there. If the power company is saying that it's not approved to be used on their power grid, I question the validity of the entire list. I'm guessing it was just an oversight.

I think the included charger is decent. It would certainly be fine for a few months of charging. If you are charging more than once a week, then getting a dedicated wall mount setup might be a higher priority.

The main hassle for me was getting a 14-50 (or whatever you choose) plug setup.

Approved for the incentive program. It’s called “kickbacks” lol

I still bet it was just an oversight since they've got 4 commercial ChargePoint options listed. But the list is long, so I guess it would be easiest for the OP to just go with one of the other options. JuiceBox or Wallbox would do just fine.

People keep pushing the ChargePoint charger, but I keep reading how cumbersome it is to changing the charging amperage. With the JuiceBox, I can change the charging amperage, in the JuiceBox app, in seconds. If that's a feature you want, then ChargePoint isn't a good choice.

The Emporia charger let's you change the current in the app also. Grizzl-e has dip switches under the cover.

I'm 6 months into a chargepoint charger and this has not been an issue for me at all. I think it's a great charger and super easy to use (but I'm sure there are lots of other great chargers too).

I have the 40amp WallBox Pulsar Plus and really happy with it. Its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capable. Can track cost of charging. if you are looking for a smart charger this is a good one. Smart charger not needed for the Mach-e but I know in the future I will only buy electric cars now so wanted to make sure it's future proof.

Unless you are looking to have the charger hardwired or plan on taking the Ford charger a lot when you travel, I have found the supplied Ford charger does just fine. Almost all of my 14,000 miles have been supplied by the Ford charger with almost 0 problems.

Yep, it’s the lack of dipswitches to set an upper limit that forced ChargePoint to remove the easy changing from the app. You can still do it with the Pro app, but if you regularly change the amperage, the ChargePoint isn’t a good choice. I’d be willing to bet that their next redesign will include dipswitches so they can bring it back to the app.
