I have a box full of this windshield gap material (foamy/rubbery tubing) that I bought for my first Model Y but never used. Will try to install some on the Mach-E to see if it makes a difference.First fix- put the foam tube in the gap above the windshield.
What year is your GTPE by the way. Seems to be a gap in mine as well, I notice the soap gathers there during car washes.Fixed mine twice.
GTPE pano roof.

2nd fix- windshield cracked (rock chip). Safelite replaced it, mentioned how uneven the factory windshield was and made it level.
I no longer need the foam in the gap and it’s quiet.
It’s not worth replacing the windshield, but it is worth using the $10 foam fix.

If you have a wind noise problem you would know. It sound just like if you had window rolled down just a fraction. How would I possibly know if I have a wind noise problem? I'd always love for my cabin to be quieter, but I don't know if that's possible or if I have a "problem." Seems ok? What is the benchmark?

My car is the select. No sun roof. Has been in the shop a few times for a few weeks and they can’t figure it out. Mine gets worse, much worse on cold days. I’m in the Northeast. I’ve been in three other Mach E’s which had no wind noise. This is only affecting a small percentage of the cars and Ford needs to do something about it. I’ve been a Ford Customer since 1976. Maybe it’s time to move onSeem a lot of people have the wind noise problem either from mirror or glass roof. It also seems Ford has no fix or just don't care.
