Peak efficiency isn’t around 50MPH in all cars as you can see from the graph you yourself posted. It has to do mostly with gearing. In an EV, it’s generally more efficient the slower you go, and definitely more efficient under 50MPH. I don’t know where peak efficiency of the Mach E is, but the graph won’t look quite like the ones you have here.At 80MPH, you will be getting something like 25-40% below peak efficiency which is generally around 50 MPH. This happens for any car, EV or ICE.
