My mirrors are not folding in when I lock the car, despite having this setting turned ON in the car settings. I've turned it off and on multiple times, and it's just not working.

I've been having a disturbing one intermittently for the past few months. Infrequently, maybe 1 out of 20 times, just after starting the car and having backed out of a parking spot, I feel the car start to accelerate. I take my foot off of the accelerator & the car does not slow down. I drive in 1 pedal mode. If I don't touch the brake pedal, the car will keep going at between 11 & 15 mph until I touch the brakes. I'm very much in tune with the feel of the speed & pedal so although it's a jarring experience when this happens, it's not really dangerous. If my wife were driving when this happens it might be more dangerous. When it started happening, I thought it was my imagination at first. It's happened multiple times and when It does, if the situation permits, I've been resisting hitting the brakes at least for a few seconds to see what it does. It feels like cruise control is engaged but it's not. Another possibly related isue that I've been having is that when I back out of my driveway or a parking spot, I get chimes & and alert warning me that "Adaptive Cruise Control Is Not Available". I'm wondering if the 2 issues are related. The 2nd issue happens probably 50% of the time when I back out of my garage or a parking spot. I have an appointment to have it checked in a couple of weeks but unfortunately I'm skeptical that they'll be able to find the problem.

I think this recall was limited to a small batch of Job 1s, but may be worth checking with the FDRS thread to see if you have a PCM update outstanding that you could sweet talk your dealer into applying.

Are you sure the accelerator pedal isn’t getting stuck on the floor mat?

Absolutely positive that it is not getting stuck on the floor mat. I have fitted rubber mats that don’t go anywhere and aren’t anywhere near the accelerator pedal.

My MME was built 09/21 so falls outside of the date range of the recall. I've been receiving OTA updates over the past few months & successfully updated it with my Mongoose-Plus/FDRS before that. All of the updates that I applied went smoothly. I have wondered if it was possible for these issues to be caused by the updates that I applied, but considering that they went smoothly, & I ended up with no DTCs afterward, I doubt it. I'll submit my VIN to the FDRS thread and see what updates are floating around. If there are significant updates, I'll apply them & hopefully that will clear whatever is causing this...

Anyone having this issue? 500 miles, havent even made first payment yet, issues with stuck caliper or metal on metal somehow? Not brake dust nor wind noise. Sound is terrible...dealership quoted 3+ weeks before any resolution.

I have had my 2023 Mach-e Select for a year and since i received it, the pillar on the driver side just above my head is "loose" and the headliner material won't stay behind the pillar. Is there a fix for this yet?

With most of the orders being fulfilled and getting actual reviews from drivers, Could you all post the existing issues here so that it will be very beneficial to future owners who are taking deliveries soon.

Sync 4a, audio, and navigation

• Wifi connection issues- seems to be very limited in scope and tied to specific home network details, perhaps specific to Ubiquiti hardware
  • dnsmasq incompatibility for some reason?
  • Hidden SSID may not work well; fix is likely to not do this bad thing
• Touch Screen went BLACK! - Sync 4a responsiveness issue resolved through soft reset (explained in first post)
• Blue bar in small display on nav screen - may be a glitch, may be a feature we don't understand yet; looks like it might be a lane change warning?
• No sound from audio system- Radio, car play, Bluetooth audio, nothing works
  • One option is reset Sync 4A
  • Another option is fuse #22 (amplifier) / unplugging the fuse and plugging it back in
• Infotainment not allowing for Nav to start, can't exit it - Can not load app, just spins (waves) Picture below - will update when car starts again after sitting for a while.
• Rear view camera delay setting doesn't work and switches itself off - no confirmation yet, might be limited?
• Projection (CarPlay/Android Auto) Issue after Bluetooth call handoff when entering car
• Radio preset rows reset to 3 - known issue being worked on

Connected services, FordPass, and PaaK

• Phone As Key issues- inconsistent reliability in PaaK; possible fix available: SSM 49730
  • Android activation issue workaround and reliably working suggestion both here: Workaround Solution -- Phone as a Key (PaaK) setup not available in FordPass on Android
  • Bluetooth pairing not necessarily obvious
• Cannot activate Connected Services including FordPass - unclear if this is a timing thing right now (might be a multiple day delay from delivery to activation)
  • There is a known bug apparently some are hitting that should be deployed very soon around address storage: Connected Services Bug for Ford Pass Charging Network Trial Activation
  • Unable to sign up for FordPass Charging Network? One fix
• FordPass sucks because <whatever>. There's a lot of complaint threads about this - just search for "FordPass".

Drivetrain and driving experience

• Dead Battery / Will Not Drive
  • Field Service Action No. 21B02 - Software Calibration Update (updated at least once by Ford)
  • Deep Sleep mode - 12v battery dead!!??? / Dead Low Voltage Battery (LVB) / Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power' followed by the 'Service Vehicle Soon' alert / MME STRANDS ME IN A BLIZZARD!!- unclear if one or two issues here; software updates currently being tested by Ford and specific forum members that is appearing to be reliable
  • Unknown Service Soon Errors messages - PowerTrain message in FordPass App, Red RING on charge port, "Service Vehicle Soon on dash". Dealer is replacing part # LJ9Z-14G490-A DCFC module
  • “Electrical system drain” message in FordPass app
• GOM (range "guess-o-meter") seems pessimistic - believed to be "by design" somewhat; also impacted by pre-delivery if not reset on delivery
• One-pedal fault
• Seats not returning to driving position - seems to be the car not recognizing the individual user through PaaK
• Car User Profile not keeping radio preferences? - unclear if this is a PaaK issue at this time or independent
• Automatic Profile from Drivers Seat (not working) - unclear if this is a PaaK issue at this time or independent

Charging-related

• Error may appear during DCFC
• Ford Connected Charge Station Stop Sell Order - may be related to Ford Connected Charge Station Error Message: The charge station has experienced a non-recoverable fault ?
• Charging Curve - not seeing expected 150 kW; appears Ford is meeting claimed 10%-80% time in appropriate charging conditions, so this is a bit unclear
• Charger payment / plug and play - unreliable. Unclear at this time if this is Ford, charging providers, or both
• L2 Home Charger Issues Issues with 240V charging with Ford Mobile Charger and any L2 EVSE that is plugged into the 240V outlet. MME will not charge on 240V plug while my Tesla Model 3 charges fine. (note Tesla chargers apparently don't require code compliance)
• Some 2021 Mustang Mach-E vehicles built on or before 11.08.2021 (build code MG) may exhibit a strong fan noise whilst charging in level 3. Noise occurs when charging current is approximately 10.5 kW or above.
• Charging Schedule (not working, issues with locations, very limited options) Ford working on it, confirmed by @Shayne Edit June 26, 2021: Fixed June 24, 2021. SOBDMC module replaced schedule being honored.
• . When plugging in EVSE, schedule is not respected, charges to 100%
  • Why can't we set a delay charge time?

Physical construction

• Buzzing / whining noise from dashboard
• EZ-Pass transponder interference? Toll transponder issue common to many modern cars due to windshield design; typical "fix" of proper windshield placement works here as well apparently
• Wind noise from panoramic roof - might be an assembly issue; details still being collected.
• Rear trunk black shade - Often comes loose, clips do not hold the shade in place. Pictures in the thread.
• Door Not Closing - Piece that pushes door open randomly pops out, or remains extended. May be limited to one vehicle.
• Wheel well panel gap
• Frunk does not close easily or work according to the manual. Must push down hard to close.
• Panoramic roof came cracked due to stress the dealer said
  • This was discovered 2 days after taking possession of the vehicle
  • Ford ordered and replaced the roof at no cost to me but still was frustrating

Other issues

• Garage door opener (HomeLink) concerns - not necessarily Mach-E specific?
  • Garage Door Opener is NOT Working!
  • Garage door opener keeps losing programming

• No A/C cooling. Heat works fine. Back into the shop on pick-up day. (one-off)
• Puddle lamps not behaving as expected (although may be matching documentation)
• No rear seat ambient lighting

4 years and counting for a simple REAR HATCH open/close button (icon) on the massive screen like every other car I've owned over the last several decades.
